spent most of today customizing slips and dying the 'haul' from last week...have made very slow progress as my brain doesn't seem to want to get into gear. i am hoping tomorrow the 'cogs' start turning a bit faster, so i have something to put in the shop for the end of the week. (my heavy yoga limbs aren't helping either) apart from slips i have been making some smaller cushions, ideal for brightening up a porch chair this summer...here's the beginnings of one
today though, was really all about our #4, creator of the piles around the house. he has notched up nine years of living...and although he was sad to spend his birthday at school, he still had a pretty good day, finished off with ice cream and the movie 'Matilda' and yes, i am ashamed to say the cake was shop bought...
