many reasons...

despite the fact i haven't eaten a warm piece of toast nor drunk a hot cup of tea since her arrival and despite the fact her favorite delicacy is 'chicken poo', there are so many reasons to love little olive.

i like the fact she doesn't keep count of how many times i go to the fridge to find a piece of chocolate during the day.
i like the fact she loves to play 'squirrel nutkin' whilst hoping used dog will play the role of 'old owl'.
i like the fact she has a sweet nature and loves to be silly.

i like the fact she never walks without her nose permanently stuck to the ground checking out all the lovely smells.
i like the fact she has really big ears and quite honestly, a rather silly body with her under belly covered in freckles.

i like the fact she does the 'dog' thing so well and that would be, loving us unconditionally.

but most of all
i love the fact she appreciates crocheted blankets and old thrift store pillowcases, and i am thinking to myself what more could a 'crafty' mama ask from her sweet new addition to the fold...

she is off to do a spot of thrifting tonight and thanking you most kindly for the 'color therapy' of yesterday ~ Tif

OK, you got me! i am now starting a granny sqaure blanket for our dog. I so dont want to be a bad doggie mommy and deprive our poor dog of such a comfort. I wish I had a second to keep him company - with or without granny blanket. And thank you for reminding me of my doggy-mommy duties!

My chloe doxie sleeps the same! And loves curling up under the covers! Is olive a dachshund? I asked before but I still don't know! I think she is but her colors are so unique! Such a cutie! :)

Olive has to be the cutest dog ever. I can see why she stole your heart. What breed is she?

You are doing nothing to abate my yearning for a little Olive of my own. How long do you think I need to wait between puppy purchase?!Nell was one last week. Umm....

thank you for the little olive 'love'...

and kristy, i believe having a puppy is probably much like having a baby, if you want more than one, have them close together then you get all the 'early' hardwork and 'madness' out of the way :)

oh Tif, she is just adorable with her big ears and cute freckles... :)
and they all seem to have a taste for 'someones poo'... ;)
but you are doing very well training her in the ways of 'granny chic' love!
