there are many reasons why i love donkeys.
reason #1: they have an old soul.
reason #2: they have a lovely little cross design along their backs.
reason #3: they have splendid ears.
reason #4: when i pay them a compliment about their splendid ears,
they in return compliment me on my clog sandals.

Donkeys do certainly rock! Their soft muzzles, dainty feet and the odd hee-haw, what's not to love!

you are entirely correct about donkeys and their ears...they are soft and lovely and very willing to be rubbed....did you know i have a mini donkey called jubel? he is the best. and he does have an old soul....and he loves cookies. ah tif, you are a wise woman.

Oh I love donkeys too! I am now planning a trip to the Devon Donkey Sanctuary! They always look so sad and sweet :)
I love donkeys too! At our local show -next to Devon in not so sunny Cornwall- we saw two donkeys with the most gorgeous eyes. The donkey is my fav shape for potential homemade christmas decorations 2011!
That donkey is so darn cute I could cry! (They also have a super soft spot behind their ears where I like to cuddle them :-))
