crap...

... so yesterday i had a pile of crap to deal with and instead of dealing with it the right way i managed to pass it on to someone else and make them feel as wretched as i do...this was never my intention i can assure you...and i hope in some small way i have moved towards 'righting' the 'wrong' that i did.

this morning my man turns to me and says "Tif, you either sink or swim, you need to make a choice and get on with it"...

so dear readers, today i choose to swim...let's get this blog back to where it's suppose to be...(what is that exactly i hear you ask, and that is a good question i might add)
well if i was stopped by a person with a clip board in the street and asked "madam, do you own a blog",
this is what i would say

"why yes i do"
"would you care to tell me a bit about it"
"certainly, it is the ramblings of a woman, who is a wife, a mother and a crafter, who often messes up but tries to do the best she can"
"i see" says the market researcher "do you feel you are any good at blogging"
"i'm just doing the best i can"

thanking you for the support ~ Tif

Don't let them get to you Tif, there's always someone out there trying to spoil the fun for others. Your craftwork is gorgeous and individual, keep doing what you're doing.Let's face it we could all be accused of taking ideas from others, that's how it works, you look for inspiration all around you (well I know I do!)
Just keep swimming!

I am so pleased you are swimming Tif.
Poison pens over the years have destoyed many peoples lives - I'm glad your brush with one hasn't crushed your lovely delicate soul.
I would say keep on trucking....but in your case I will say keep on sewing and creating beautiful things:)

"just doing the best I can" is a good way to approach everything, including blogging. I think you're doing great.

YEAY!!!! This echoes perfectly the words of my wise mother, who is fond of saying "It is what it is". This can be altered to fit any occasion by putting emphasis in different places. You're my hero!

I second that. 'Perfect'.

What a great shirt! And I really like your hair. {When I see it, it reminds me that I'm in desperate need of a cute haircut.}

Lovely blouse! I am just about to start on some dressmaking and clothes revamping- I've just realised that I'm in danger of dressing exactly like my mother!!!

You appear to swim like a fish.

"just doing the best i can" this my dear is all any of us are trying to do, i do believe when shit happens it is a test, quite possibly from spirit more likely the universe, and probably both!
If we deal with the situation well, we know this inside, if we don't we also know this, we tell our selves off, repremand ourselves, beat our selves up! and hopefully remember for next time, which of of course there is always a next time.....You would not be here if you were perfect, you would not need to be, on a more physical note spanking top looks great, love and light Stephne x

Tif I am another one who is glad you are swimming. Behind that blogger is a human and we are all the more fabulous for that even with the ups and wee blips. I adore your work and it is clearly all 'you' - there is certainly no doubt in my mind. Have a great day.

Hello Tif
I feel rather ashamed about my comment which I am glad to see you deleted.. I was just fighting your corner as I know how devastating critiscism can be..
Onwards and upwards..
