if there is one thing that gets my crafty pulse 'a racing'
and my little heart to quicken
it has to be vintage tablecloths and pillowcases.
indeed i can safely say when it is just
me,
Miss Ethel
and
a pile of vintage fabric finds
everything else fades away
and
i am transported to my happy place...
she is quite certain today is the day summer will start ~ Tif

Oh, so lovely! :) I've recently been obsessed with vintage linens, too - am collecting them to make a quilt and curtains - among a billion other things. :) I just want to roll in them, they make me smile so!

Vintage table cloths are the first thing I look for in thrift shops!! Your cushions are beautiful!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited at the sight of some vintage floral linen. I'm like a laundry magpie!
Nothing gets me inspired to get my sewing machine out like the shelf of second hand sheets at my local charity shop. (oh except that photo of beautiful cushion covers!)

as I think this "how to" is ever so popular and sweet...
oh me too, I love the softness of vintage fabrics too and I think of the history behind the item and make up senarios in my head where they have come from and this may sound strange but I also love that musty old smell when you find them in shops!!
