Oh I do love this so! Wish I had a little wooden monkey with no eyes to send straight to you for completion and a Happy Ever After! Loads of love, Amanda xxx p.s. Pop over...I'm having a little give away!
well dearest readers would you believe that i was 'a thrifting' not more than one week later and this lovely wooden monkey found me... i do believe indeed that Eric the Viking had rescued her as well
sadly she had no ears eeek! i said to myself... and bought her home, fashioning her a fetching pair out of vintage wallpaper and noted love was in the air. now i'm sure a lonely little monkey with no eyes is out there amongst the shelves of despair, waiting to be found. i shall not rest until i do ;)
I first thought that they were original monkeys from the Danish designer Kay Bojesen, but looking closely, they seem more like copies. Cute copies, though :)
