i do not have any 'small beings' lying around my shed.
i have plenty of 'little critters' and 'large beings' but that would not do.
as luck would have it,
i found myself a perfectly perfect 'small being' on tuesday,
courtesy of a fine friend and her shed.

Dear wonderful Tif, aka Dottie Angel,
It is so fine to see you enjoying a 'small being' around mossy shed and the gorgeous and darling kerchief/shawl she is sporting is beyond cute! Did your fine friend knit it? Does she have a pattern to share? It would be so nice to find a pattern for such a spiffy kerchief! Do share if you can.
Much enjoyment is had reading your posts. Love, alipyper
Good Lord have mercy. If it couldn't get any cuter she wears a headscarf. *bites cheeks*

What a absolutely lovely little friend you have found Tif. I just love the expressions on her face - maybe she will grow up into a dottie angel too !!! :-) Looking forward to your shop update with much anticipation. happy week, Julie :-)
What a cutie and what lovely 'makes'.
Chocolate on toast, never tried it but it does sound scrummy, then again I might get hooked too.

Oh my goodness... she's adorable!! I see she has Dottie Angel aspirations and perfectly dressed for the part too :) (is that a ruffly scarf I see? ;)
Such amazing photos. I want to give both of you a hug.
oh yes indeedy, a perfectly perfect 'small being' :)
the little crocheted shawl was a gift from my fine friend's friend to her 'small being'. i have no idea where the pattern is from, all i know is, upon seeing it i gasped thee gasp at its fabbiness.
i now wish to wear one too!
yes Leanda, you spy a 'rippley ruffley' collar!
thank you for your lovely comments, i smiled a whole lot whilst reading them. most kind of you indeed :)
she is a cutie. Such beautiful photos. I love nutella on fluffy white bread, yummo. Looking forward to seeing your shop full of goodies. bec x
If one were to join Ravelry and search for the pattern called "calamity jane" by Kirsten Hipsy, you can craft your very own ruffley collar. Unfortunately I know no other way to buy the pattern (it's 4.99 on Ravelry). The yarn for this particular shawl was Mountain Colors Twizzle in an olive colourway, a worsted merino/silk blend. (alas, I am not the knitter of the gem but a friend that happens to know the technical details)
small being is a magical model
and fine friend a very fine photographer
the props are gorgeous too!
would that be nutella? if so, i have a similar weakness. am partial to the green & black's one too (trouble is it's a bit posh and only wants to be spread on artisan bread).
we have a small being here that will only have his snacks served on his 'happy monkey' tray (which was meant to be for nana).
golly gee that is one cute muffin....here i am knee deep in men and there is the cutest muff dressed in the cutest clothes i ever saw...man.
She is just too scrumptious~ So adorable! Oh my goodness. Thank you for sharing these fabulous photos! Jamie V in MT

What great photos - I love, love, love your skirt. The small is adorable - as my nan would say "I could eat her up on a jam butty." Can you tell where we are from? The North of England, Blackpool to be exact. I am also a long way from home and I thought I was the only person this side of the Atlantic that says willy nilly. x
What a sweet little person you found! I also am desirous of a shawl. I did quite a few flowers to make a shawl.. then I got boooooored of making them.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

She is adorable, from her splendid headscarf to her 'cloggy style' slipper/shoes.. I do miss 'small beings' around my home...
Such beautiful photos Tif..I hope 'small beings' mummy is proud :o)
Have a most splendid day my dear.

What adorable wholesome photo's i loved this post. And pompoms to ;-) dee x
These photos are awesomeness in a big ol box! How adorable!
This young lady is clearly a kindred spirit! I love everything about her wonderful outfit and inquiring ways, and the photos are simply dear!
hurrah hooray sarah! many thanks my dear for the info. you know i am not a member and yet my patterns are up there! most interesting to see, i can only see if someone kindly shows me if they have an account. under 'dottie angel patterns' :)
a great start to the day, a morning cuppa, your kind words and looking towards a bit toast and chocolate spread. i'm not a nutella girl, i'm a cadbury's chocolate spread girl. one jar kindly bought back from old blighty by my man. hence i am no longer a recovering addict, but an addict again :)
some pink flowers... you are so silly, you made me smile :)
delighted to think of a small being, attached to a little happy monkey tray. i'm very attached to mine, i did have two and then i lost one! how can one lose a tray?! i did not take my tray out for a walk, i guess he is playing hide and seek with me within the shed...
happy friday my dears
x
How fantastic that your borrowed small being has such good dottie angel taste!
And where, oh where, did you get your boots? I have a serious case of the wanties.
my boots are by Sanita, they are fleecy lined and wooden clog soles. i found them on ebay end of last winter and stored them until this moment. having been on my feet for the past 2 weeks, i think it most true to say, they are the most comfortable winter boots i have ever owned.
i will be highlighting them when i do a little blurb about clogs soon :)
What a peachy small being and her mother for sharing.
