Then show them off on the clothes line. It's good light, shows full length, a bit of size proportion too. I really like seeing them in a window as well. It gives you an idea of how they'll hang in your own window.
I seriously am coveting your squirrel pillow!Unbuttonedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05404016466771350896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2698879802773566105.post-82364592400842745712008-10-31T10:44:00.000-07:002008-10-31T10:44:00.000-07:00I wish the elves would measure my windows for me a...I wish the elves would measure my windows for me and leave me a wee note to say if yours will fit! To catch a cutomers eye make the first pic one that shows the colour and detail really well - this is your trademark after all :) As long as you have the word curtain in the title description then there won't be any confusion. Then in the extra photos you can show them off as much as you want, in as many different settings as you like. If someone is hooked by the first picture - remember first impressions - then they will want to know more about the item...

I've just started putting etsy treauries together and when i'm choosing items i go for ones that have clear photos with good colour and detail...

I hope this is helpful :)

emma
xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00632891001464459094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2698879802773566105.post-11770984248243491222008-10-30T11:08:00.000-07:002008-10-30T11:08:00.000-07:00I quite like your curtains on the clothesline imag...I quite like your curtains on the clothesline image you up in your etsy store now. However, I do feel the butterfly detail close up might make for a better starting picture than the full on view. With your lovely swallows I would make your second post picture your first etsy picture because the flow of the birds is so lovely - only if the etsy thumbnail will capture that, of course. Otherwise I think the pics you've got are perfect and reflect the look and feel of the rest of the shop.

That's more opinion than you asked for, but that's what you get =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
