willy nilly...

this week is all about getting photos done for my joyful shop update
(please look to the right if you do not know about this and wish to know more)
(please do not look to the right if you do already know about my joyful update, or indeed, do not wish to know)

yesterday as i took a breather, i looked around me at the piles of handcrafted goodness and little forsaken souls alongside of knick knacks, all waiting patiently for their moment to shine.
they all looked so peachy just hanging around, twiddling their thumbs, so i snapped them right there and then with Frankly Frank's help. 
here's just a few of those snaps. 
no particular order, 
just a willy nilly collection of what i saw









she has found a rather lovely 'small being' and on thursday will be sure to share ~ Tif

    its always the last bits of making...the gathering, geting ready, photographing, the packing... that I find hardest...so close, yet so far. I prefer beginnings...all the possibilities

    My heart just skipped a beat! I spy Joan Walsh Anglund. I have adored her since I was ten and collect her writings. She is so lovely and i dare say, reminds me so very much of you!

    Hi Tif, today's title gave me an instant giggle, can't remember when last I heard that expression! I've been wondering how you get the whites so clear & clean in your photo's? They look so uncontrived. Today might well be the day I apply some dottie angel inspiration, to a 15 year-old piece of white linen fabric that resurfaced during our recent migration ...

    PS my paternal grandmother always provided someone with a handmade apron at Christmas. You reminded me how important that (& wearing one daily,) was to her and these fabrics could have come straight out of her store cupboard...

    oh my... I was staring at your photo, Tif, of the darling candlestick...and I noticed that it sat upon a Joan Walsh Anglund book! I have a huge soft spot in my heart for her books... The size, the sweet illustrations and words are precious...!

    hurrah for Joan Walsh Anglund books! i have several, one from way back being itty bitty and one i found in more recent times. there is something about them which just makes me happy, from the illustrations to the sentiment behind them :)
