the color yellow...

if someone stopped me in the street to do a little market research and asked the question "madam, would you mind telling me your favorite colors?" i would be sure to say
"teal, chartreuse green, white (does that count), duck egg blue and a sprinkling of pink on occasion"

but as i look around my studio and home i realize of late, the colors yellow and orange have seeped in...not bright yellow, more sludgy yellows and muted oranges but then my eye catches my latest thrifty find, a teapot and i note it is 'bright'...how can this be, i am not suppose to be a yellow/orange person and yet it is plain as day...

  4. geriann...ahhhh, my sweet summer sandals that look so lovely in the picture but alas my pasty pale pins are not doing them any favors so i shall hide them away until the sun has made an appearance...they infact came from where else but good old Target:)

  5. Dotty Angel, your photo's are so lovely, and very cheery on this wet dreary day. I couldn't get to my allotment, so am blog hopping instead, and hadn't visited your for a few weeks. I am going to visit some of the shops in London that you have mentioned. I am very lucky that my son lives in Marylebone, London, very central to everywhere that's worth a visit. have a good week-end (soon be here)

  7. I don't normally like the colour yellow, a good shade of yellow is hard to find but I love it here!

  8. i think that's what it is 'little miss mel'...so many 'wrong yellows' out there, giving the 'right yellows' not much of a look in for most of us...

  9. i'd say you like yellow.

& yes white counts as a color - no color would be invisible.
